CMT has been vigorously exploring a business model combining investment with business incubation in the past few years.

In 2000, B&H Venture Investment Co. , Ltd was launched to engage in the establishment of the hi-tech parks and provision of business incubation service.

In 2001, CMT, the Ministry of Science and Technology of P.R.C.and Shenzhen municipal government co-established Shekou Torch Innovation Park . The park, with a total area of 80,000 square meters, was the first state class service center, supported by government but run by a company.

In 2005, Shenzhen Creative Industry Park , with an area of 100,000 square meters was established,  becoming the first state class base purposely for creative industry incubation.

By the establishment and the development of the incubation parks, CMT was able to provide service ranging from consultancy of government subsidiary policy, seed and venture capital, subsidiary projects to living services and has attracted over 200 hi-tech and creative businesses into the parks thus far. While yielding great economic results, CMT’s investment and business incubation have also great social value and positive leading impact on the society and the those contributions are mainly delivered through its effectively promoting the industrialization of the hi-tech achievements and innovations, localizing the overseas funds, rendering support to the overseas Chinese students to return home and start their business. A good proof of those efforts is that over 50 overseas students are now serving in CMT’s portfolio companies.
